Personal Data Protection Policy (GDPR)

I. Basic Provisions

The controller of personal data according to Article 4, paragraph 7 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) is:

Personal data means all information about an identified or identifiable natural person.

The controller has not appointed a data protection officer.

II. What personal data do we process?

The controller processes personal data that the customer provides when creating an order or communicating with customer support.

This mainly includes:

• first name and surname,

• billing and delivery address,

• telephone number,

• email address,

• data related to the order and payment.

III. Purpose and legal basis of processing

We process personal data mainly for the purpose of:

• processing orders,

• delivery of goods,

• payment processing,

• customer communication,

• fulfilling legal obligations,

• protecting the legitimate interests of the controller,

• sending commercial communications and newsletters (only in cases stipulated by law or based on granted consent).

Without providing the necessary personal data, it is not possible to successfully process the order.

IV. Period of personal data retention

We retain personal data only for the period strictly necessary to fulfill contractual and legal obligations.

Data related to accounting and tax documents are retained for the period stipulated by the legal regulations of the Czech Republic.

After this period, personal data is securely deleted or anonymized.

V. To whom data may be transferred

Personal data may only be transferred to entities necessary for the operation of the e-shop, in particular:

• e-shop platform provider (Shopify),

• payment service providers,

• shipping companies,

• accounting service providers,

• marketing and analytical service providers,

• public administration bodies, if required by law.

When using certain services, personal data may be processed outside the European Union in accordance with GDPR requirements.

VI. Your rights

In accordance with GDPR, you have the right:

• to access your personal data,

• to rectify inaccurate data,

• to erase personal data,

• to restrict processing,

• to object to processing,

• to data portability,

• to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time, if the processing is based on consent.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic.

VII. Security of personal data

The controller has adopted appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse or disclosure.

Access to personal data is only granted to authorized persons who are bound by confidentiality.

VIII. Final provisions

By submitting an order, the customer confirms that they have read and understood these Personal Data Protection Policy.

The controller reserves the right to update or change these conditions at any time. The current version is always published on the website www.ebazo.cz.

These Personal Data Protection Policy take effect on June 01, 2026.
